
The following requirements are in place for all of our programming for safety and security reasons:
1. Unless verification of your fully vaccinated status and booster are submitted in advance, masks will be worn at all times, including at orientation. If you are vaccinated, masks are optional unless required by the venue.
2. Applications must be submitted prior to Orientation.
3. Bring all documentation to your orientation if you have not submitted it with your application, or if you have been told to bring it when you were notified of your orientation schedule.
4. You must pass a pre-training drug screen before class begins and will be given random tests during training.

MINNESOTA EMPOWERMENT TRAINING
This is our 5-week long Empowerment program designed to prepare you for a career path rather than just a job, but as our past participants can attest, it is so much more. Future class sites will be determined based upon applicant locations. If we have enough interest in an region, we will set up a program that would be conveniently located to those applicants. Some possible sites could include Fortune Bay Casino, Shooting Star Casino, Cedar Lakes Casino and also Bemidji and of course we will continue to provide programming in the Fond du Lac Band area. Class sizes are limited but please know we will have several more opportunities for you over the next several coming months at various locations throughout Minnesota. More than one class may operate at a time so we encourage you to apply.

BUILDING STRONG COMMUNITIES
BUILDING STRONG COMMUNITIES is recruiting for our next class to begin this Spring.
The Building Strong Communities program is an apprenticeship preparatory program that will prepare you for a career in the construction industry. This program offers individuals the opportunity to receive Union endorsed training, exposure and a "foot in the door" to a career in the trades. Program graduates will have an opportunity to interview with participating Construction Trade Unions and Contractors.
Construction Career Awareness:
A career in the construction industry is typically a physically demanding profession. Daily work usually involves standing, walking, moving and carrying heavy equipment and materials. Construction work frequently requires being outside in the elements, confined spaces and heights.

This class will take place in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and virtually; you must meet the following criteria to be eligible.
Program Eligibility:

Be at least 18 years old.

Earned a high school diploma / GED / or equivalent

Ability to pass a drug screen

Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Background check maybe required by employer upon placement
-
NOT currently enrolled in a construction union or construction trade training program.
